How do I pay by IDT? 

After placing your order, you will receive an email confirmation with instructions on sending your IDT to utcopy@austin.utexas.edu. Due to guidelines set by the University of Texas, we are unable to store IDT account information for customers. You will need to submit a new IDT with each transaction.

I am tax exempt, why does my total show tax? 

All products available at our online store are subject to required taxes. If you are utilizing your departmental Inter Departmental Transfer Account Number (IDT) for your purchases, your account number must first be verified to mark your profile as tax exempt. Please email utcopy@austin.utexas.edu with your customer information, the applicable IDT, and authorized purchaser. After verification, your online purchases will be tax exempt.  

How long does it take to verify tax exempt / IDT status? 

Tax exempt verification can take at least 1 business day to process. After verification, your future online purchases will be tax exempt.

What address should I use for my customer account? 

Please use your preferred delivery address. If you prefer and select UT Staff/Faculty Only Departmental Delivery as your delivery option, please provide your delivery address as abbreviated Building Name and Suite Number (Ex: SSW 0.00) rather than physical mailing address. This information can be changed in your Account settings (if needed) for future purchases.  

Can I pay by credit card? 

Payment via credit card is available on the site. All major credit cards are accepted.  

Can I pay by credit card for tax exempt purchases? 

All products available at our online store are subject to required taxes.  If your purchase qualifies to be tax exempt, your exemption will need to be verified and additional paper work may be required. Before your first purchase, please submit your inquiry to utcopy@austin.utexas.edu with your tax exemption and customer information. After verification, your online purchases will be tax exempt.  

Who can shop the UT Line store? 

Purchases from the UT Line store supports The University of Texas at Austin. It is available, but not limited, to the staff, faculty, students, family, alumni, friends, visitors and supporters of the University of Texas.  

How long will it take to receive my order? 

You will receive an email when your products are set for delivery.  

If you selected UT Staff/Faculty Only Departmental Delivery as your delivery option, you will receive your order within 2 business days after your order has been processed. Delivery hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.  Document Solutions Campus Delivery is subject to the operating hours and days of The University of Texas at Austin. 
 
If you select Standard Shipping (off campus) as your delivery option, you may receive your order within 2-6 business days after your order has been processed.   

Can my order be shipped? 

Standard Shipping is available and selectable on the Document Solutions UT Line online store.   

Is there a charge for shipping/delivery? 

Standard Shipping (off campus) charges will be added to your total viewed upon check out. Standard Shipping orders will be sent using USPS and customers will receive a tracking number for their shipment.

UT Staff/Faculty Only Departmental Delivery is available at no additional charge.  

Can I pick up my order? 

Due to Coronavirus guidelines, pickup will only be available from our SSW location.  Our SSW Location is in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work Building at 1925 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin TX 78712.

When restrictions are lifted, pick-up will be available at any of our campus locations: UNB, GSB, RRH, or SSW.     

What is the Return and Refund policy? 

Due to Coronavirus guidelines, no returns or refunds will be given at this time.  When restrictions are lifted, refunds and exchanges will be able to be accepted within 30 days of purchase as outlined below.

Most unopened items sold by Document Solutions UT Line in new condition and returned within 30 days may receive a refund or exchange. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.  Downloadable products are not subject to returns or refunds.
